TUI NA

Therapeutic Massage

What is Tui na?

Tui na Chinese Medical Massage (pronounced "twee nah"), also known as therapeutic massage, is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves the use of hands-on techniques to manipulate the body's energy flow and promote healing. This form of therapy incorporates various methods such as kneading, pressing, rolling, and stretching to stimulate specific acupressure points, enhance circulation, and alleviate pain.

Unlike Western massage, Tui na is rooted in the principles of Chinese medicine, focusing on balancing the body's vital energy, or "qi," to treat both musculoskeletal issues and internal disorders. The techniques used are often tailored to address individual health concerns, making Tui na a versatile and holistic approach to wellness and rehabilitation.
